Easy to Learn Coastal Navigation

For hundreds of years there has been this mistique about coastal navigation. Yet in reality the process is quite simple. In response to our successful online Marine Radio program All Hands on Deck Maritime Training have devised a Coastal Navigation program in conjuction with the respected Tony Hollins.

Our Coastal Navigation course has been devised for use both online and offline learning. This allows you the flexibility to learn and practice coastal navigation techniques regardless of where you live around Australia and at your own pace.

The Coastal Navigation..it's Easy program is an 'Award Winning' program that is easy to follow and covers all the essential requirements to competently learn how to navigate a vessel (recreational or commercial) in near coastal waters. It is based on coastal navigation courses that have been successfully delivered for many, many years.

The Coastal Navigation..it's Easy program has been developed for 3 different worldwide regions:

  • Australia - covering the Whitsunday Islands (over 500 programs sold to date)
  • The United States - covering Long Island Sound and
  • The United Kingdom - covering the Bristol channel.

The program has been developed on the basis that coastal navigtional is based on 3 important areas of knowledge:

  1. Knowing where you are
  2. Knowing where you are going to and
  3. Knowing how to get there

You will learn how to acheive the answers to those 3 components in the first 3 chapters of the program. Everything else that we teach you will be a bonus. Remember you do not need to be a mathmetican, simple add and subtract is all that is required.

What you do need is a desire to learn to navigate and the ability to see it through. Coastal Navigation..it's Easy will do the rest for you.

Topics covered in the Coastal Navigation course

The course covers a wide range of coastal navigation topics which are designed to make you knowledgable and confident even if you have never stepped on board a vessel.
